Praise God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth. This is our report from the first Truth of the Holy Spirit Seminar held in the Hill Tribes of Northern Thailand 24th to 26th November 2009. We arrived with an expectation that God would send His Holy Spirit to help us as we taught and shared with Hill Tribe Pastors from 11 different tribes and also 17 people who trekked over the border from Burma about the Truth of the Holy Spirit. Altogether throughout the event there were over 80 people who participated in the very first Truth of the Holy Spirit Seminar in the Hill Tribes.
Quite a number of Pastors who attended came from a Baptist background/training. We saw people healed from headaches and muscular disabilities as well as internal healings and limbs and stomach aches were healed. God was so good. We also had the opportunity to pray with more than 10 people to receive salvation and numerous people wanting to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit there were also recomittals and pastors who were asking God to help them stay humble. What was also very exciting was the hunger and thirst for God and the things of God especially amongst some of the women who were attending. It was a privilege and blessing to be involved with this first ever Holy Spirit Seminar.
It did take the first day for the people to be more open to the things of the Holy Spirit and on the Wednesday of the seminar there was a breakthrough where people were more free to step out and to trust God by His Holy Spirit. The faith many people had to see signs and miracles was indeed strong and very trusting. Often, people would sit with Eliah and Jit after each session and discuss what had been spoken and they would direct their questions to the examples in the scriptures or with Godly wisdom answer their questions.
God is definitely stirring up many Hill Tribe Pastors and also those from Burma by teaching them about the Holy Spirit and how important having the Holy Spirit is. There were lots of great feedback from many people about how the seminar would help them and they were already asking for next year’s 2nd Seminar to be held in the Hill Tribes 2010. It was indeed very humbling watching the people from Burma trekking back across the border into their country. They had taken a risk in coming over into Thailand to attend the seminar and they went back with tracts and scriptures that hopefully will help spread the gospel into Burma. Praise God for all of your prayers and support. The seed you have sown will return a harvest unto the Lord. Our love and thanks to Eliah and Jit for being obedient to God and the love they have for the Hill Tribe people and Burmese people. Thanks also to Paul and Jenny for making themselves available to also sow into the seminar.
We are already praying and asking God on how He would like us to join Him in what He is doing amongst the Hill Tribe and also Burmese people.

Thanks and praise be to God who by His abundant grace and mercy and the provision of His precious Holy Spirit and the gift of His beloved son the Lord Jesus Christ made the seminar a reality.
